Tel Aviv Museum of Art present for the first time in Israel, a solo exhibition of works by the leading Japanese artist, Hiroshi Sugimoto. Sugimoto was born in Japan in 1948 and is considered to be one of the most important and prominent figures in the art world today.
The exhibition focuses on Sugimoto's iconic photographs, emphasizing his physical and spiritual approach to time. Among the series presented in the exhibition are the Seascapes, the Theaters, the Dioramas, the Portraits (Madame Tussaud's wax figures), the Architecture, the Colors of Shadow, and the Lightning Fields.
